At Oberlin College I was part of a group called the Recycled Products Co-Op (RPC). The purpose of the co-op was to provide responsibly manufactured school supplies at cost to members of the Oberlin community. The co-op also acted as a "Take It Or Leave It" for school and craft supplies. We often oversaw sales of the Slingshot Collectives "Slingshot" planner, which inspired us to print our own planner using student illustrations. During my last year at Oberlin I led a group of five students which designed the layout and theme of the second RPC planner. I coordinated with local printers to get the planner printed using soy based inks and recycled content paper within our budget. We used illustrations from over 18 student artists. I solicited David Wessels to draw the cover design for the planner. Working with photocopies of David's sketch pads and micron pens I created several pages for the planner.
The planner was ##" by ##" with ## pages. The printer was . . . . .
The RPC logo was designed by me when I first joined the group back when they were getting off the ground in the fall of 2004.
